Datasets are the groups of related content that are either custom or generic. You need datasets in order to have data to populate your designs with. You’ll use them to insert and link specific data to your Figma layers.
Click “Add new dataset” to get started.
Select the type of dataset you want to add: your own existing content, AI-generated content, or one of our presets of generic content.
Once you’ve added your first dataset, you can start applying the data to specific layers in your designs.
Or, once you have your first dataset, set up Mappings to apply data to multiple layers at once, and to re-use in designs over and over again.
